Punks in the Indonesian province Aceh was arrested by local police and sharia police when they held a charityconcert. The arrested shall be rehabilitated to the society in one of the province policeshools according to chief ot the police Iskandar Hasan. In a traditional cermony they cut their hair, then they have to bathe and then we teach them a lesson.
The chief ot the Police has invited the muslim cleric council to participate in restoring the punks moral and values, and this will be conducted by religious studies. In the provincial capital there are five punkcircles that has catched they eya of the sharia police. there are frequently conducted raids against punks to rehabilitate them to the society.
Yeah, back to the 70´s, the punk´s not dead, It reamerges wherever needed. Well, according to me, all waves of punk dies out, cause when the musicians actually learn to play, the evolve more to metal, thats my opinion. But the message in punk, the rebellious vein and expression will always emerge wherever needen.
So hands up to the punks in Indonesia, lets give ´em our support! well take a punksong just ´cause it´s the right thing to do
